Attention Students 10 - 12 grade:
Dual Enrollment refers to the practice of allowing students to enroll in two academic institutions at once:
Students take college-level courses on Sultana’s campus with Sultana students only. Classes are 100% free, including books.
Students are awarded both college credit and weighted high school credit for successfully completing each course. ENGL 101 = English IV, HIST 103 = World History, HIST 118 = US History.
Courses are transferable to a four year university fulfilling two requirements at one time
Currently registering for Spring 2020 classes now!! Classes will start Monday, January 13th so, if interested, act soon!
Steps:
- Visit the VVC website: http://www.vvc.edu/ click on "Apply for Admission" (upper right side). Apply for term you plan to attend.
- See your counselor or Mrs. Falahee for a Dual Enrollment form. Once complete and signed return to Mrs. Falahee to register for your class.
Students must be 16 years or older for all classes except PSYC 101 and CHDV 106 (may be 15 years old). Classes offered include ENGL 101, ENGL 104 (pre-requisite of ENGL101), HIST 103, HIST 118, SOC 101, PSYC 101, CHDV 106, CMST 106, and RMGT 2. For further information see your counselor.
