Dear parents,
I hope this message finds you healthy and well. It's hard to believe that there are only 12 school-days left! As we complete another week of distance learning, we find ourselves continually looking forward to better days, when our students can once again learn in the classroom with their teachers and when our Class of 2020 can move their tassel from right to left alongside their peers. Yet, while the reality of this time has its challenges, the resiliency of our families, students, and staff has proven inspirational. I want to thank all of you for your support in working with your students to finish the year strong despite the many challenges we have all faced.
Here are a few things for the end-of-the-year procedures:
-If your child is NOT coming back to Shadow Ridge next school year you can drop off their Chromebook and other textbooks/library books on Thursday May 28th from 10:00 to 12:00.
-If you are planning on returning to Shadow Ridge next year you can hold on to your Chromebook through the summer.
-Last day to complete core-credits is Thursday, May 21st.
-Last day to complete elective / PE credits is Wednesday, May 27th.
-Final report cards will be printed and mailed the first week of June.
-Students who signed up and were accepted into summer-school will hear from the summer school staff. Summer school will continue with the distance learning format.
- Seniors, I am going to follow up with a message just for you. If you do not receive a message from me, please check our website for senior updates.
- Continue to check your email daily.
If you need anything we have staff in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to noon or you can text me at 760-552-0852.
