Thank you to the City of Hesperia for placing new 4 way stop and crosswalks on Muscatel and Independence. As the community gets used to the additional stop, be extra careful to look both ways before crossing and to walk your children through crosswalks as well as parking lots. The additional stop by design slows traffic. Please know that extra time is going to be needed during morning arrival and drop off. One way to help speed up the drop off process is to not wait until you reach the gate to let your child out of your vehicle. You can let your child out safely along the paved walkways leading up to the drop off gates.

Mission Crest is offering the Caregiver Workshop that focuses on strategies to work with children with anxiety, more specifically separation anxiety. If your child struggles with leaving home to go to school, this workshop is for you! The Caregiver Workshop is being offered for free at Mission Crest on February 7th from 10:00 - 12:00 in the Parent Center. See the flyer for more information.

A special thank you to Oak Hills High School Leadership Club. They partnered with Chick-fil-A and Coca-Cola for the Million Book Give Away. Members of the club brought each student in grades Kindergarten and 1st books and read to each class. We even had a special visitor, the Chick-fil-A Cow!
