Maple School of Innovation

The district is aware of power interruptions due to a transformer outage in the city. This power outage affected businesses, homes, and several school sites throughout the district, including HHS, Maple, and Topaz. The district worked with Edison Electric to quickly restore power. As of 10:55 am, power to all school sites has been restored. The district will update parents, students, and staff if this situation develops further.

California Department of Public Health (CDPH) will be hosting a Vaccination event on: Friday, November 15th, 2024 and Friday, January 31st, 2025 from 3pm-6pm at the Hesperia Unified School District. Note: This event is not organized or implemented by HUSD.

Drag your corpses to our annual Halloween Parade. Our gate opens at 8:00am. Please stay on the spectator side of the caution tape throughout the duration of the event. Students may wear their costume to school (no weapons or blood). Masks or face coverings may only be worn during the parade. Please plan for limited parking and do not park along the No Parking Zone in front of the school. Let's make this another fun event for Maple.🎃

All support sites and school sites will be closed for Fall Break from October 7 - 11, reopening October 14.

HUSD is excited to partner with Think Together to offer fun activities, enrichment and care during the upcoming fall break, October 7-11th. Hello Maple Families, We ask that if you are a walkup pick up for all grades TK-6th, you park along the street or dirt area across from Maple. Please do not enter and utilize the parking lot. We need this area clear for our special needs program, buses and parents with disability placards. Thank you!

Good evening Maple families. HUSD just announced all schools will remain open Wednesday, 9/11/24. Maple will limit outdoor activity and we will use the same dismissal procedure as today. Hello Maple Families, We are currently awaiting updates from the Hesperia Unified School District about the status of school closures for Wednesday. These decisions are made by the district and not the individual school sites. They will base their decision off of the Mojave Desert Air Quality Control System.
