Our 100 Mile Club Kick-Off and Registration is this Thursday, Aug. 22nd from 5:30-6:30pm out on Juniper's track. Come sign up for only $10 and get some laps in as well. This is a family event (students are not to be dropped off) so lace up those shoes Mom and Dad and we'll see you out there! #OURJuniper
Good manners pay off! This year our fabulous Nicole H. in the cafeteria has started a Good Reads for Good Manners program that rewards students showing good manners with good books. Here are last week's winners. One winner from grades 1-6 will be chosen weekly (more details for Kinder will be coming soon).

Kona Ice is coming to Juniper tomorrow! They will be here during lunch times. Students can either bring cash or their Kona Ice punch card to enjoy an ice cold Kona during their lunch recess! Yippee!

Join us tomorrow (Wednesday) for the first PTC meeting of the year at 3pm in the cafeteria. Child care will be provided! We will be discussing events throughout the school year, volunteer opportunities, and ways in which we can all work together to make Juniper an even more amazing place to be! What an amazing first day back! We loved all of the smiling happy faces on campus! We cannot wait to do it again tomorrow! With the first day under our belt, we have a few reminders for our parents:
* Beginning Tuesday, we will be a closed campus. All visitors will need to be board approved and check in in the front office using our new Raptor system. You must bring a picture ID in order to check in.
* Summer reading homework is due Wednesday.
* We are a free breakfast and lunch school. Every student can get free breakfast and lunch every day!
* 1st day packets are due asap.
* Due to a change is policy, we will not have Saturday School this year.
* Please make sure your child wears closed toed shoes every day so that they can safely participate in daily PE activities.
* In order to increase communication with our families, we will soon be requesting parent email addresses. Please provide this information to your child's teacher as soon as possible.
