Patriot Day spirit wear with Mrs. Johnson's class!
A glimpse into our first grade team's Unit of Study,

Congratulations to our hawk scholars whose names were drawn to spin the prize wheel!
We have drawings every Friday. Students earn Nest notices, which are positive behavior slips. These slips earn points for the Nest and the notices are put into their Nest mailbox. Every Friday we do a random drawing and students are able to spin the prize wheel. Additionally, the Nest with the most points will have their flag flown on the flag pole the following week. This week the Nest with the most points is the Nest of Innovation. You will see their purple color flag on the flag pole next week.

School Zone Safety Reminder: Watch Out for Our Most Important Passengers!
Dear Families,
As a friendly reminder, student safety is our top priority during school drop-off and dismissal times. Here are a few tips to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone:
Slow Down: School zones have reduced speed limits for a reason. Please obey the posted speed limits and watch out for children who may be walking, biking, or crossing the street.
Minimize Distractions: Students are often unpredictable, so having your full attention is crucial. Please watch for students in crosswalks and crossing to get to the other side of the street.
Follow Drop-off/Pick-up Procedures: Please adhere to the designated drop-off and pick-up zones to avoid congestion and ensure a safe flow of traffic.
Be Patient: There may be delays during peak drop-off and pick-up times. Be patient, courteous, and avoid double-parking or stopping in traffic lanes.
Thank you to those of you who are always looking out for the safety of the students and for letting us know when conditions seem unsafe.
Working together, we can create a safe environment for all our students!
We appreciate your cooperation!
Sincerely,
Adora Sayre
Principal
