Our Wrestling Program has a HUGE home match tonight against Sultana High School. In honor of that, a few of our Girls and Boys Wrestlers Emiliano Hernandez, Max Stevenson, Paulo Valdez, Arianna Estrella and Elyanna Valdez recognized five staff members - Chef Kimble-Pirner, Mr. Romero, Mr. Healy, Ms. Reineman, and Coach Foreman - for always being there for them and the wrestling program!! HUSD recently learned of the unfortunate closure of Encore Middle/High School. Our staff is eager to assist any Encore families who live within the district boundaries and wish to attend an HUSD school to make this untimely transition as seamless as possible. Shawn Foreman, HHS Campus Aide and Girls Tennis, Girls Basketball, AND Boys Tennis Head Coach, was selected as HUSD Classified Employee of the Month for last month! We couldn’t think of anybody more deserving of this recognition than the man that gives so much to our campus! We love you Foreman! 💛🖤🦂

Today we hosted all the 6th grade students from Cypress, Eucalyptus, Hollyvale, Joshua Circle, Maple, and Topaz for a Christmas Rally! Students and staff played games, watched performances from Cheer, Select Ensemble, and String Orchestra, and had special appearances from Santa and the Grinch! 🎄 WE HAVE NEVER HEARD THE GYM SO LOUD BEFORE! 💛🖤 Happy Holidays Future Scorpions 🦂

The Scorpion Family came THROUGH again! Clubs and classes on campus donated canned food for our annual Thanksgiving Drive and we are able to bless 16 of our Scorpion Families with a full Thanksgiving Meal this year! The winning group, with 81 items donated, is our BGR (Black & Gold Regiment). They will receive a Pizza Party as a token of our appreciation for their generosity. Honorable Mention goes to Mr. Pineda and his classes who all donated LOTS of cans without competing for the party prize. We've got candy coming your way!
