Fun Friday! Mrs. Baker is one of our wonderful Instructional Assistants she works in small groups. They were playing a game called Roll and Read. The students take turns rolling the dice, then they read the words that match the number on the dice. Mrs. Baker is always making learning fun for our kiddos. Thank you Mrs. Baker!

We are extremely proud to announce that Jacob Campos, one of our 6th graders here at Eucalyptus, has been selected by Hesperia USD as the FIRST EVER Student of the Month for the entire school district! He was selected out of a total of 10 different elementary schools! Jacob is an outstanding Koala who definitely deserves this recognition! We are so proud of him!
Here is what was posted about Jacob:
Accomplishment: Jacob is an exemplary student at Eucalyptus. He maintains an excellent academic stance and takes his education very seriously. Every day he models safe, respectful, and responsible behavior. He is an extremely kind student who consistently looks for ways to give back to his community. Overall, he is a well-rounded, passionate, and hard-working student.
Bio: Jacob has been very dedicated to his soccer team for two years and has been an excellent Student Council representative who has been serving as our school's Vice President for the past year. Wonderful people from the community came to share the love of reading with our students today for Read Across America. We truly appreciate their time and commitment to increasing literacy for all children. Reading is powerful!
A special thank you to Mrs. Almojuela for organizing this event💚.

Practicing math facts can be fun and very simple to do at home, and of course, it's extremely beneficial for all students!
Mrs. Hernandez's 6th grade class practices their fluency by playing card games which requires them to combine different numbers and mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to create new numbers!
Ms. B's 5th grade class has put a spin on Yahtzee to practice order of operations together! Both of these types of games can easily be played at home with students! Dice and decks of cards can be found for very inexpensive prices at different stores and online.
Try them out this weekend and send pictures to your student's teacher! 😊

This is a Reminder for Read Across America on March 1st.

We will have pre-sale tickets ($5) for purchase during the student's lunch times until the day of the dance. Tickets will be sold at the door for $6. The night of the dance student's/children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tendremos boletos disponibles para la compra durante la hora del almuerzo de los estudiantes. Los estudiantes deben estar acompañados por un adulto la noche del baile.
