Reminder: In order for students to attend after school sporting events as a spectator, they must be accompanied by an adult. Also, sporting event admission is cash only.

Earlier this week, the district was made aware of social media rumors revolving around a social media threat reported by a few Cedar Middle School parents. The district immediately worked with law enforcement, including the Hesperia School Police, who subsequently traced the rumors to a single post that never mentioned CMS or any other HUSD school.
Nevertheless, law enforcement investigated the matter and informed us that there was no credible threat against CMS or any other HUSD school.
As always, our district, law enforcement, and our CMS team will remain vigilant as student and staff safety is always a priority and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.
Cedar Middle School is looking for School Site Council who will work together with school staff, students, parents and administrators to develop and monitor the SPSA (School Plan for Student Achievement). Stakeholders will be given the opportunity to make important decisions about how students in their communities will be educated and how district funds are spent at their school site. Hello, Cedar Middle School families! We are excited for what the 2024-2025 school year will bring! We hope to be able to provide the students with fun activities and resources but in order for that to happen we need your help. Parent Club is a great space for us to come together to share great ideas that will not only benefit our students but their families as well. Parent Club is all about FUN-raising, FRIEND-raising, and COMMUNITY building. Our purpose is to provide support for one another through pooling of knowledge. Good morning Spartan families. Per transportation, if your student rides Route 40 and is picked up at the Ranchero & Amestoy stop, they will not be able to stop due to the accident on Ranchero. If possible, please have your student picked up at the Ranchero & Escondido stop. This stop is picked up at 7:56 am. Transportation apologizes for the inconvenience.
