Christmas Gifts
Each year our school police officers donate their own money to try and help make a handful of students’ holiday season a little more special. This year wonderful students from Joshua Circle and Oak Hills High School were the recipients. A special thanks to our officers for their dedication and care for the students of our community. This is just one example of the many district office departments and school sites that do similar programs to give back to our community and help HUSD families. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! #ImpactTheFutureHUSD

HUSD is preparing today's students for tomorrow's world. Angel was the first participant hired from the very first HUSDSTUDENTS@WORK cohort! He completed his paid work experience at a business in the High Desert. The site manager, at Angel's job, hired him because of his positive attitude, his being a great team member, and because he was a very hard worker. Since starting the program Angel has completed his graduation requirements at Mojave High School and is currently taking HVAC classes at VVC for his future career. We at HUSD are very proud of Angel and wish him well in all his future endeavors.
