Today's School Site Highlight is a special workability highlight. husdstudents@work is a program that HUSD has where students work internships at various businesses to hopefully eventually get job offers. Our first student is Joseph Acosta. Joseph successfully completed his work experience at America's Tire, demonstrating exceptional reliability and responsibility throughout his time there. Joseph was offered a permanent position at the store upon the completion of his hours. Our second student is Xavier Saballos. Xavier concluded his work experience at Little Caesars on a high note, showcasing his dependability and eagerness to learn. These qualities left a positive impression on the team, leading to his successful hiring. Our Final student is Ivy Ramos. Ivy successfully completed her work experience through the HUSDSTUDENTS@WORK Program at Kids and Care Preschool, leaving a lasting impression on her supervisor and colleagues. Her experiences during this program have undoubtedly provided her with valuable insights and skills as she takes steps toward realizing her goal of becoming a preschool teacher.
