Overview
The Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Department oversees and monitors several exams in the district. With the development of the state standards, the creation of the state testing system and the federal requirements mandated by No Child Left Behind (NCLB), districts have been far more focused on the use of data to inform our instruction and monitor student progress. Hesperia Unified School District assessments include:
  • California Standards Test
  • California High School Exam (CAHSEE)
  • California English Language Development Test (CELDT)
  • District Single Assessment Exams in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies
  • High School Advanced Placement Exams (AP Exams) – AP exam information available at your school site
